The God-existence question: a little exchange.

I stumbled on a youtube comment that was questioning the existence of God and I tried to comment on the contrary.

Just some hours after, the same guy sends me a youtube mail asking me to seek mental help. He also add more youtube link to buttress his points

Religion is a mental disorder
Part 1 in a series, which argues that religion is a mental disorder.

Here is an excerpt from my reply:

I will take what you have said as an advice but for a while let me let in on some of my records.

I am a software developer with over 6 years of professional experience. I won awards in Mathematics and Chemistry days back when I was in school. I put a lot of problem solving and logical skills in doing my jobs and except for privacy policy, I would have shown you some of my online work. I am very proud of them.

Although I don't ask God to do my job for me, I am wise enough to choose the CREATOR rather than some creations of his....

There has really been the question around me lately and I still wonder my many in this present day would hold tight this extreme falsehold and pretend as though they are really the elites of the society.

I hope to come up with a series of blog to prove my God is and why I believe the bible.

But it must be clear that no evidence could nullify the power of faith because like it is written - "Without faith is it is impossible to please God and he that must come to God must believe that He is and ......." Hebrew 11:6.

Have a great day

How about Divorce????

My sister and I were having a discussion and she was telling me a pathetic story about a woman who had a very terrible time in her marriage when she asked me the question, "what do you think about divorce?".

The question coming on the background of the story I felt sorry for the woman but ... I could afford to go her way as I said that I felt sorry ... but if anyone has Heaven as target, divorce is not something to try out.

Jesus was quite explicit even though the society even the church community now seem to have double standards on the issue, it is still there in the bible

2 Some Pharisees came and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”

3 “What did Moses command you?” he replied.

4 They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.”

5 “It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied. 6 “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

10 When they were in the house again, the disciples asked Jesus about this.

God was very explicit in Malachi 2 when he said

10 Do we not all have one Father? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our ancestors by being unfaithful to one another?

11 Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the LORD loves by marrying women who worship a foreign god. 12 As for the man who does this, whoever he may be, may the LORD remove him from the tents of Jacob—even though he brings an offering to the LORD Almighty.

13 Another thing you do: You flood the LORD’s altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer looks with favor on your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands. 14 You ask, “Why?” It is because the LORD is the witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.

15 Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth.

16 “The man who hates and divorces his wife,” says the LORD, the God of Israel, “does violence to the one he should protect,” says the LORD Almighty.

So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful.

So in the light of God's word, we really want to feel for our fellow man/woman who really wants to make that hard decision but remember God made it clear "If you are divorced, you are not suppose to go marrying another else it will be counted as adultery".
Indeed we can say this message sounds crude for our generation but remember "IF ANYONE DESIRE AND IS WORKING TOWARDS HEAVEN, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY".

God bless.
